Sure, if you don't keep drops or use the AH, space is a lot less of an issue, but at that point, you're limiting yourself.Īnd the free 30 day rental is only a 30 day rental. I basically have one vault for drops and one vault for AH. I hate to sell stuff to vendors, but if I don't want to fill up my inventory, I have to.Īnother issue is monster drops. Only reason I can manage my space now is because I don't try to sell whites on the AH anymore (and yes, there is a market for them). But the fact that items on the AH stay in your inventory means that if you want to play the AH, space goes -fast. If you don't auction, you save a lot of space. I've hit inventory limit a few times already. And if I didn't have that 2nd vault, I'd be out of space. But once that bag rental goes away, it'll be tight. I have 3 bags (one the 30 day rental you get for free), 2 vaults and the house vault. TL DW = more village expansions, monster ranching and user-made dungeons.Īs the game presently stands, I feel a lot of things need improving, but I think the potential is definitely there, and the devs are constantly working on things, guided by the community. It's come a long way since its early beginnings, and there's some really interesting stuff on the horizon.Ĭheck out this trailer, if you're interested to see what's in the works (second half of the vid). VnH started as a browser-based game 3 years ago and has a loyal core of fans that's been with them since the start. The devs are very active and listen to the community, though, which is always a plus for any game. Lack of inventory, limited travel options and super-grindy levelling beyond the early levels are the biggest pitfalls you need to expect. In launching it through Steam, you'll automatically create an account, so no need to create a separate account.Įxpect frustration unless you spend a fair bit of money, though. If you like the genre, I'd suggest giving it a try. for some reason, it's actually a fairly decent game overall. Cash shop is too expensive, game is insanely grindy beyond the early levels, and yet. Some quick thoughts on the game in general from a newer player: Player base seems rather small, but impressively friendly and helpful.
